When page removal is useful
A PDF may contain blank scanner pages, duplicate attachments, outdated forms, internal notes, or personal information that should not be sent. Removing those pages creates a shorter and more relevant document, but the change should be deliberate because the processed copy cannot reconstruct deleted content.
Work from a duplicate
Save an untouched original before editing. Open the duplicate and write down the pages to remove. Use the page numbers shown by the PDF viewer, not only the numbers printed on the page, because covers and contents pages can make those values different.
How to delete PDF pages
- Open the Remove PDF Pages tool.
- Upload the duplicate PDF.
- Select each unwanted page carefully.
- Review the selected thumbnails before processing.
- Download the new PDF under a descriptive filename.
Review the edited document
- Confirm the cover and final page are still present.
- Check that chapter openings and attachments remain in order.
- Look for references to pages that were removed.
- Verify that no confidential page remains.
Use extraction when it is simpler
If a long document contains only a few pages you need, extracting those pages may be clearer than selecting dozens for deletion. Whichever method you choose, compare the final file with your intended page list before sending or archiving it.
